Brazos Valley Rehabilitation Center (BVRC) is pleased to announce the acceptance of bids for upcoming exterior facility improvements and accessibility enhancements. This project supports BVRC’s continued commitment to maintaining a safe, welcoming, and fully accessible environment for the children and families we serve. The successful bidder must be compliant with the Davis Bacon Wages Determination act.


Scope of Work Overview


Windows & Control Joints – Wetseal Application

  • Removal of failed sealants at windows and control joints
  • Installation of new caulking and sealants
  • Use of scaffolding and lift equipment
  • Site cleanup and debris removal
  • Note: Select windows will be permanently sealed



Window Frame Painting (97 Frames)

  • Cleaning and preparation of window frames
  • Prime as needed
  • Application of exterior black paint



Stucco Repair & New Coating System

  • Repair of approximately 15 sq. ft. of damaged stucco
  • Crack treatment using polyester mesh reinforcement
  • Full-surface base coat application
  • UV-resistant finish top coat
  • Complete preparation and cleanup



Stucco & Ceiling Sheetrock Repairs (Under Building & Carport)

  • Removal of damaged sheetrock
  • Reinstallation and texture to match existing surfaces
  • Exterior painting for uniform appearance



Sidewalk & ADA-Accessible Ramp Installation

  • Installation of new exterior sidewalk sections as needed
  • Construction of ADA-compliant ramp(s) to improve building access
  • Grading and surface preparation
  • Concrete finishing to ensure durability and safety
  • Compliance with applicable ADA slope, width, and landing requirements
